lisa - my very DH sweeps up after accidents for me! He works in the city and comes across piles of it occasionally on his lunch hour. He keeps a broom, dustpan, and bag in the back of his vehicle.

Ah Wench! What a great way to enjoy my first coffee of the morn! Scrolling thru your beautiful garden!!! I LOVE your irises!!! And that orange and yellow daylily!WOW! You and I went thru the mosaic blues together a couple a months ago, discovering stuff that didn't like being left outside, and I'm ready to do a bb now too!!! I'll just bring it in in the winter! Crash glass ball is great! And for some reason I completely missed the fact that your sink is an actual working fountain!!! Now I Really want to make one!!! It's all "Eye Candy by Wench"!!!

It's a BEAUTIFUL ball MW, just different from your others! EVERYTHING you make is carefully thought out. Looked through your entire album--I'm envious of your gardens! We've only been in our house a year and a half and are starting everything from scratch! Spent all morning digging beds for roses and uncovered many, many, many old roots. ACK! I think that is so pretty, and the rest of your stuff is amazing too!...But I've never heard of crash glass before this post how do you use it? like everything else? Oh and I found my hubbys old bb in the shed this past weekend and he hasn't used it in years, in fact I thought we had thrown it away when before we moved, so I'm going to steal it from him and try this bb thing!! I'm sure it wont be anything like any of yours!!! But you give me inspiration, thanks!! jlynn

Here's a tip for working with crash glass that saved my sanity.

Put a blob of blu-tak or fun-tak (that rubbery adhesive with which to hang posters) on the end of a pencil and then pick up the crash glass with the pencil. It saves the tiny motor movements required of your fingers when working with those teeny shards (and the horrific cramps that accompany those tiny movements).

Works well with beads and micromarbles as well.
