JASPER: The mirrors - she cuts the cups and other items in half, glues them on, therefore the image makes it appear to be a whole piece. The flowers - she takes off dishes, bowls, vases, wherever she finds, glues them on, making a 3-D buildup. The shading - sheets of glass have several different shades of darks/lights, and she is very clever in how she uses them to shade her pieces.

One of my favs. She/I had a long, running conversation via emails when I first discovered her. Nice lady. I did one of those crazy mirrors and gave it to a friend. I made a paper mache crown for the top of a garage sale rectangular mirror, and filled it w/junk jewels etc. Wish I had it back, cuz my friend got mad at me for some unknown-to-this-day reason, and dumped me - told me never to call, come, or write anymore emails cuz she wouldn't read them. Refused to explain. ?????????

Ohhh, a crown....gotta "Riana" one!!!! and bling it up with jewelery!!!
    Okay, had to look 2x and these are my favs: # 7, 15, 16, 29, 35, 37to40, and 44!!! WOW!!! VERY INSPIRATIONAL!!!
I like the 3d of the shark teeth, and the dangly jewelry, and had an idea of an upside down cup with decorating the top!
I made Klinger something with a mini teapot and porcaline flowers once and I think I'll do something else now,..... a mirror or a another teapot, or a nice tiered set...hmmm....percolatin'!!!!!

This is where I took my first class last December and made my birdbath. I was so much fun that I'm going again on the 9th and 10th for another class! I live about 3-1/2 south of her but getting away for a weekend of mosaicing is wonderful! And walking along the beach is an added benefit.

Oh you lucky DOG you! wow, that would be an awesome class.

I really love that grape table, but am I the only one the feels the caricatures on fountains is a bit ... creepy, like what you would look like if you were a overly happy robot made of shards. I guess I'm thinking that if ya had one of you and your dh, during a divorce, which one of you would smash that thing to smitherenes 1st? LOL

The fountain caricatures are .... um, different. It is amazing how the one of Fred and Donnell does look like them though!

Anyway, since you finish the project that weekend, I know I'll finally have another picture to post!
