OHMYGOODNESS. I ALMOST MISSED THIS THREAD. BALJE - THAT'S BEAUTIFUL - YES - I'M TALKING LOUD. Now you've done it!!!!!!!!!!! I've been eyeing my front door for about two years. Even bought paint for it last year, but never got to it. I guaran-danged-tee-you, I'm gonna address this issue after this picture - WHAT an inspiration. I realize this is an inside door, but mine has been standing there waiting for juuuuuuuuuuust the right day. I think I just moved it up on the priority list. This is wonderful!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Wish I could see a closeup of the details.

Oh my gosh!! that is absolutely beautiful!!! I am with the rest would love to see a close up of some of the panels. Do you use regular grout between the pieces of glass? I have a door that I would love to do a glass on glass but am not sure how to get started on it. Would love any help you can give. Conni

I was just wondering the other day about your "cement girl" - would love to see a pic when you complete her (or another WIP picture as you get further along) - I thought she was so cute...and I love stuff like that for outdoors. But now of course, I know what's been keeping you busy! It's just gorgeous!

wow i have that same door only a pair of them for my bedroom and had been looking for a way to create more privacy i didnt want to use curtains i think i just found my solution this turned out so well did you cut all that glass yourself if so kudos you really did a great job

Where did you get the purple glass and what color did you grout with?

i get most of my glass from a couple of stained glass shops--they do classes and have lots of scrap glass. also i buy new pieces from them-$6-$12 for 12x12 sheet...barb
