Yep, Susanna, I have to agree. I bought mine a few months ago and find them a wonderful investment. The spring in them is so much tighter than my old ones.

OK. . .I have a stupid question. Do the wheels on the Liponette's spin or are they stationary? I have a different brand that spin. They didn't come with an allen wrench of any kind and don't appear as though they should be tightened. All of the reading I've done talks about loosening and turning the wheels to a sharper point making me think I don't have what I really want/need. HELP please!

I've practically worn out the first one I bought before the Leps, and they were tight in the beginning. Now, the wheels spin and I constantly have to tighten them. The wheels on my Leps are tight. There's a lot I don't know about these tools. Some knowledeable person w/answer our questions soon.

I am experimenting...have tightened the wheels, didn't much care for it, now I've loosened them again and they seem better, but as Slow said, I gotta keep adjusting/tightening them...

My experience is that things are much harder to cut when the wheels are loose. I know for sure that my Leponitts work better when the wheels are tightened.

My first pair weren't Lep's...they also had loose wheels. That made all my cuts either under or overcuts, mostly with nasty looking scallops..called the mfg and found out that they had had a problem with the nippers doing that. Their customer service lady told me to just add a couple of 1/4" washers over the wheels (under the screw head). Easy fix, but she also sent me a new pair of nippers since the screws on mine wouldn't budge. They work pretty well, but my next pair will definitely be the Lep's after reading how much everyone loves theirs!
