Just about....gotta finish grouting. Been so rainy here that grout takes forever to dry! Hope to be done by Sat (unless we float away first!)

I got mail too, thanks! Whoooever gets mine, just BE PATIENT! It may be a few days late! I haven't decided if it's ready to grout or not, might need to add some more glass...just depends...but it's close, really close!

What's cool is, Tuesday is my birthday (7/3) so I KNOW I'm getting at least one birthday present! :D

I got the email and I'm going to be one of the late ones..but with the kids moving at the same time, I actually had to pack up all the supplies and go to a place I could work alone, without distractions..
downtown, to a grocery store, where there's a loft like place, that some people go for lunch and watch sail boats in the inlet..
there's a marina and a small deli below, so upstairs are about a dozen tables and chairs..
it's a really awesome place to either have lunch or just sit and watch the seagulls and boats..

I sat there for 6 hours one time, when I took a "self divorce" packet and prepared my own papers..
then shot up to the court house and turned them in to the clerk..lol
that was back in '97
the view is still the same up there but the room itself is highly upgraded.
it used to have a little corner where there was a microwave and sink.
now, it's all professionally decorated and they teach cooking classes in the evenings..it looks like a bona-fide French chef kitchen, with cherry wood cabinets and the finest ovens and counter tops..
wow..but that's my place to get away and finish the can lol

and to admit here, that I am also late in sending in the postage for the can...I'm not gonna sluff on that..just be late in it, too...
I wonder if I was late being born..hmmm no one ever said!

addiesue this is a swap challenge we started back in May. We have 12 people mosaicing the same item, a watering can. Maybe you can join us if we have another swap challenge.

Monday is my goal day to get it in the mail!!

ooooh, I cannot wait to them! Like Chickee, it was hard to sit this one out so I'm eagerly awaiting the eyecandy to begin!
