very pretty--if you get some grout on the edge just take a small artists brush dipped in water-you can get the grout off pretty easily....barb

Your tray looks great Maria. Too bad you were only able to get one of those plates, the pattern is so pretty, it would have been nice to score more of them!
I still haven't had a chance to mosaic the tray you gave me, I've been working on Jeff's fish. Will be posting pics of them soon.

Ba1je thanks for the tip on cleaning, that scalloped edge may drive me crazy .

Crafty- the cup has some of the pattern, too, but it was so rounded I didn't use it on the tray.Maybe I can do a small flower pot with it. Most of the pink flowery plates I find have a beige backround. I love this because it was white and "brighter" looking.

Maria - I had a similar issue with a tray I did. I wanted the scalloped edges to be grout-free, so I used painters tape to cover it while I was grouting. I waited until after the grout was pretty dry to remove the tape. It worked well for me.

BEAUTIFUL - just love those hand painted tiles. Remember a toothbrush works great on scrubbing grout out, but the tape w/help a lot. I'm always in too big a rush to tape.

LOL got it, artist brush, toothbrush and tape. I'm ready to go!!
