Those are beautiful!! Love them! Wow, lots of patience to sand all you "diamonds!! LOL Seems I either have too much GEII, or not enough and I have to re-stick 'em.

No Idea on a grout color, but love the blues!

TRIPLE WONDERFUL. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the first one - reminds me of a patchwork quilt. And the disco ball - How NEAT the work is. What size squares did you cut? It looks so smooth on the edges. I use grey or charcoal almost exclusively now. It seems to show up all colors best, and you notice the tesserae instead of the grout. Lovely work.

Nice, I was thinking darkish on the first one instead of something like ivory because I'd like all the little white pieces to show through. Also, the 'diamonds' have enough GEII behind them that they'd show through quite well - I think. I like the green idea for the second one.

Slow, 'What size squares did you cut?'... Dunno! Let me go measure. OK, I'm back. Slightly over 1/2 inch tall, and as per the width, there's all kinds of sizes on that spectrum. LOL!! Just got a glass cutter - the hand held kind - so I was experimenting a lot. Just got a snapping tool too to break the glass apart where I score it. Takes soooo much less time than what I was using before which was tools and cutters mostly for tiles. I feel like I've come out of the dark ages. :O)

Love them both but even tho I'm not a blue girl i love the sparkle of the blue,,,,greengrout or even cobalt would be nice...really good work on both,,Ugh is right!!!!

Both your balls are gorgeous! I love the pattern that you used for your first one and how you bordered all the diamonds with white tiles...dark grout is really going to make it pop!

The white tiles are actually pieces of white opaque stained glass cut into strips and then nipped to get the tiny long pieces. Call me a sucker for punishment... LOL!! I do like to work with small pieces of glass.

Tiffy, I think I feel ivory would be good because your white outlines flow really well and maybe accenting the grout lines would "break" them up too much. But then again I do absolutly see your point about the diamonds showing off better in dark grout

Tiffy those BBs are beautiful. I am especially drawn to the first one. I love your design, colors, glass, etc. Your work is SOOO neat! I'm always in a dilemna with grout colors.

WOW - what meticulous work - I'm partial to blues, so the second ball really "speaks to me", but the first one is eye-popping!

Sorry I don't have grout suggestions - it's usually the thing that stops my projects cold...

they are both just lushious....I love the black for the second one or a dark blue. The first one I agree with the ivory but couldnt it also be a pale green?

Tiffy, after looking at the first ball again, it looks like your ball background is white and all your color diamonds look great right now just like it is, so I agree that the ivory could be a nice choice. Besides your grout lines are so small and close together that I don't think the grout will distract from your diamonds.

Oh, not to worry Nice. Being in a kerfuffle is always a constant state for me. LOL!! Just starting a project puts me in that state so I'm doing a double whammy since I started a small table yesterday.

The ivory is starting to sound good to me. My DD also agrees with you and was hoping someone would suggest a lighter colour than what I was originally going for.
