Awwwwwwwww...I love it! Those oblongs are so cool. Where did Squirrelly manage to find those? Gonna have to keep my eyes open. I haven't been able to find any different shaped ones here yet.

I do so wanna do a bb! But I am thinking with our crazy weather, I need to use a concrete ball instead for a base. I've been thinking of how I could make a bb mold, using a bb for starters! thinking...thinking...

LR: Just go to a thrift store and grab one of those glass globes from an old light fixture, they are about the same size as a bb and are a dime a dozen practically. Klinger got me interested and collecting them to make my own spheres. I have about 1/2 doz bb so will use em up first, but when I actually make my own I'm gonna keep a few!lol! You fill em up with concrete and then smash the glass when it's cured and Ta-da! I paint my bbs the color I'm thinking to use for the grout, it's just craft paint and it gives me an idea of what direction I wanna go, I am actually going to do this bb a green grout now, but who knew!ha!

Done the mosaicing, just needs the green grout now, and already started the Bunny I scored today for .25!

Sheesh! Where is everybody? I've spent the Whole Day Mosaicing!!! And posting pics!lol! Sooo heres the bunny, it's got major bling with pink mirror and old english plates and some pink irridecent 1/2 marbles thrown in too! It's about 3/4 done, but I gotta go water, it's like 9pm here!! I must be manic or what!?!

Jane you have been a busy mosaicin gal. I love the ball, those glass pieces squirelly bought us are fabulous flowers, and I love all the other dishes you put on your ball. Your bunny is a sweetie,I think it could use some eyelashes, hmm, wonder if you could attach some fake ones? Then it would be so over the top. You got me wanting to do some more projects now, and I haven't even grouted the last one, jeeesh,

Today I did a bunch of yard work but took a break and I was drawn by the mosaic tractor beam again and am working on 3 more projects, all GOG: agate slices, and rocks hanging down....

Rosie, I think Jane's working at super sonic speed because she is excited about coming to see you and Slow...she has to make a bunch of stuff to sell so she can get her plane ticket, right Jane?

I'm on holiday at a friends house, popped on their computer, HAD to see what you guys are doing!! LOVE the BB Jane! I got those nuggets at a dollar store called Dollarama, they make perfect flowers. Holidays are fun but I'm dying to get home and play for a few days of my holiday.

I can't believe your speed, girlie, and those dishes are to die for. Wish we had that kind of stuff around here. FABULOUS job on both pieces.

Slow and Squirrely you'll never beleive it but, Jane and I went to our favorite thrift store last Friday and they had all dishes $1.00 a box. We filled up a bag with all kinds of pretty stuff. A gorgeous platter with pretty yellow flowers, and lots of other stuff. Jane was going to use her saw on them.

Yup! The first thing she said is "Wouldn't Squirrelly like these!" We also scored a silver leaf kit that Cindy Loo Hoo let me bring home!!! And ever since I did my seascape themed table, I've been meaning to get rid of the scrap glass but I keep thinking up ideas for it!!! Like these GOG geode sliced things and the fused glass with amber plate rondel for a sunset! AND I'm excited cuz I'm also going to add some beads and stones or stained glass pcs by hanging them at the bottom with wire!!! You can see on the sunset themed one where I've dotted with blck marker where I want the holes to go. Ohhh, I'm havin' some fun now!!! AND I also was thinking of doing a styrofoam head with big glass on glass hair spikes, punk rocker head!!! Hmmm, may have to go back and get that head today, It helps that it's $1/bag day at that ts!!! heh heh!
