I have found it more noticeable if the silicone is thick. I have not noticed it on my gog windows, however. If the gog project is for indoors, I'd use weldbond instead.

Silicone is also more prone to yellow if in full sun.

On the GE II I have read that you should AVOID kitchen and bath because of the mildew killing chemical in it which yellows in sunlight...use the window and door GE II...
