OHMYGOODNESS - THAT STONE!!!!! The grout completely brought out your pattern, which I didn't see before, and it's just FABULOUS! Looks sorta like a quilt pattern. Did you draw out that pattern or make it up as you went along? I just LOVE it. Those dark, funny triangles around the center - how did you cut those? They look so uniform and precise. And, I forgot what the center is. Looks like a little beveled mirror. Beautiful! Of course, the pot is nice too, but the stone is wonderful!

The stone has a very nice modern feel to it. I like it alot! I wanna see that 8ball stone!

These are great, BAMA! I haven't tried to make any Van Fo yet (don't you just love that name?? :) but I have the glass, and I believe I have some paint, might do that tonight.

Bama, like Slow said, I never saw the flower design when I first saw this and it does look like a quilt square. I think I'm going to have to try making a stepping stone soon!

SLOW..I didn't draw out before I started..I just used the force to guide me. A lot of the items I do are quilt squar-ish. Its really hard for me to do abstract and flowing. Thats why I really like your style. It just looks so relaxed and artsy. Wish I had that in me!

an intricate geometric shape and you don't draw it? crap, I'd have to draw a circle to get a circle when using a circle tile! LOL

Maybe I am way off but I love the colors on the edge of your pot. I like the washed look.

With the VanFo is there a concern moisture from outside will get under the tiles and loosen them from the stone?

OMG - that stone is just beautiful. And I find it really incredible that you didn't draw it out ahead of time. I would NEVER be able to do that without a detailed drawing. Wow. I am REALLY impressed. It's just gorgeous - I absolutely love the design. It looks like a kaleidoscope.
