Are the rods set right in so they can't move from the rock container or can they move around?

It would look good as a focal point in a dappled shade garden where the sun would hit the glass every now and then.

I love this idea. Please let me know if there is movement in a breeze. What type of rods did you use? How are the glass pieces attached to the rods? I've been looking for an idea using pieces of glass that can move in a breeze, but I was thinking more of hanging glass by fishing line. I absolutely love this idea.

I made this out of some unknown type of rods - I think they are plastic coated steel or something. ( The original idea I saw online EONS ago - said she used those rods that suspended lowered ceilings. ) These rods can be bent - they stay in that shape but they bounce in the wind. I wire wrapped the glass & made a loop at the top to hang. At the end of the rods - I made a wire loop , put glue on it -then slid 3 beads over the wire . I just added one jump ring between the glass & the rod tip - the glass bounces and turns in the wind. Bottom pic is WIP .

Oh I remember when you posted that picture and was wondering how you'd use it. Very well done - what a creative idea. I could imagine that on top of my turbine tower and how when the wind blows it, it would twirl the glass.

Very creative and unique idea. I bet it looks great bouncing in the wind as it reflects light off the glass.
