OHCRAFTY!!! How striking is THAT?! Simply spectacular. The contrast is just wonderful, and doncha just LOVE that red mirror glass. So that's chartreuse and dark green glass, and is the white shards of dishes or glass. I love the whole look - pattern, and painting the blocks surely helped. Nice BB too - don't remember seeing that one. Just BEAUTIFUL.

SLOW The white are tiles and I actually didn't like the BB when I did it so I didn't add it to my album. Now that its on the column though it looks like I made them both to go together and I am liking the ball now. LOL

I have been without power off and on the past 24 hours thanks to a tree that took out a power line in our grid. Everytime it was 'fixed' and we would get power, I would turn on my computer, start checking the posts here while adding my comments and then the frickin power would go out again, the computer would go black and I have found that none of my comments would get posted. This time I have waited several hours before turning on the computer just to make sure the darn power wouldn't go out again and it appears that it may FINALLY be fixed!

Annie, I got most of my bowling balls anywhere from free to $1 for each ball. I figured if it cracked we wouldn't be out much. The first ball my DH drilled for me he didn't use water so the top of the ball chipped off. The second ball was a green ball with glitter (which is why I picked those colors for the column) and he used water when he drilled it with a 5/8' bit so it didn't crack. We bought 5/8' outside diameter pvc pipe that we ran up the center of the ball so it stuck up a little at the top, the water would bubble up a little and run down the side of the ball.

Gin Gin did mosaic a BB that she used for her bubbler, that's where I got the idea. How's it holding up Gin Gin?
