Hey Rosie, I just love your artwork! The pots are gorgeous, to say the least, but I always enjoy going back to look at your other work. These are beautiful!! SO colorful - can you share how you painted the rim? Did you do a gold wash over a couple of colors, or what?

Great stuff, ROSIE - eye-popping color combos and nice cuts and designs. About time you showed us some new stuff. Yeah, gardening and company - that's my story too and I'm sticking to it. In a mosaic slump.

Your pots are so colorful Rosie. I loved looking through your album at all your projects, I don't remember having seen any of your mosaics before.
I would also be interested in knowing what you sold your stuff for too.

LITLBIT: Re the painted rim: If you look at the inside rim you'll see a cobalt blue which was the base coat. I then took a straw color and a bunch of metallics and dry brushed on many acrylic colors--greens, periwinkle, amethyst, copper and lastly with gold. If there was too much color I took a dry rag and smudged it til I got the look I wanted.

VERY NICE! Great Eye Candy! I have some grouting to do also! Finished mosaicing my boob flower pedastal, very blingy! Now to grout it!
