What a great gift. I have a friend whose daughter will be leaving for a missionary trip (20 years!!!) and I had wanted to make her something but she will be so limited in space I chose not to. She will love them. It will always remind her of you!!!!

It was so frustrating working w/ the black grout (first time). I'm pleased w/ the cross now, after washing it with gold acrylic paint. With just black grout it was really gothic looking.

Yes that is her favorite passage on the back and I also included date and place. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

They are just great crystal. It's amazing how different the frame looks grouted. The cross is really special. Love the gold and the faith stone. The colors all work so well together. Beautiful work!

What a difference the black grout made on the frame. Such a pretty little frame, and THE CROSS IS GLORIOUS!!! Yes, the gold makes such a difference, doesn't it? You did a fabulous job on both, and she'll treasure these. Lovely, just lovely on both. God be w/your daughter and YOU. I know you miss her and are very proud.

Thanks cac. I think it's already been life changing for her. She's doing a Summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ in Maryland. It's just for the summer (10 weeks). She comes home Aug. 7 then leaves for college Aug 18. so I will not have too much time with her.
