GE II gone bad?

Can GE II go bad? I have a caulk-gun sized tube that I have been using for several months, now about 3/4 gone. Yesterday I used it to glue glass globs to the edge of a table that I mosaiced today (indirect method, thinset for adhesive/grout, I'll post it separately. Not entirely happy with it.) Anyway, I expected the globs to be well-seated today. Maybe it's just the humidity(?), but they will still come off, and the GE II is, like, I don't know, sticky? Not normal. Can it go bad? I'm hoping it will go ahead and cure, and/or the thinset on one side will help hold them anyway.

Yes, it can go bad. Did you notice if it had a yellowish tint to it? I've talked to a couple people that got bad tubes from the store.

Was it exposed to high heat? I had a student that was keeping his class supplies in his car(in the florida heat) and his silicon was very slow to set up and seemed to even become soft again when grouted.

Bummer. I figured when it wasn't set yet this morning that it's not going to. Given where they are though I think I can pull them off, clean up the edge and redo them. I hope! Thanks for the input.

Every tube I have bought at lowes and HD have been bad when I bought them...thick and cloudy thats why I gave up on it...Annie
