Perhaps she's out gathering nuts for the winter? HEHE.. I am most interested in hearing about Glass Eye and its application.

I have been using glasseye for several years now and love it. I use it for creating stained glass patterns. I don't know how you would use it for mosiacs though. There is an auto trace function that does a reasonably well job of tracing a scanned in drawing. But, there are several versions of glasseye, and I think this is in the more expensive version. I don't use this function often. Most of the time I use my mouse to just trace the lines.

I downloaded Glass Eye a couple years ago but didn't take the time to really figure it all out. You still get to keep the patterns and there are some really good ones. Some functions still work even if you don't purchase it, like enlarging the patterns. If anyone ever goes for the free trial make sure you have the time to spend on it,(if you want to buy it) I found it rather complicated. I like all the free patterns, I use them for inspiration mostly, but then I like anything FREE!

It doesn't have a mosaic function. I guess if you drew the lines and altered the came/foil options it would work but why bother when photo conversion is just a click on software you may already have?
IMHO The best mosaic buttons on regular software are on Adobe PhotoShop and Corel PaintShop both programs allow the size of tile and width of 'grout'lines to be altered.
