GE II won't set up!

I've heard this mentioned before, but couldn't find the posts on it. It was gooier than usual coming out, and after three days stuff is still just falling off. I scraped it all off of the pot, and will probably just throw the pieces away because I can't get all the stuff wiped off! My question is what did you do if this has happened to you??? Can I still use the pot with another adhesive? I can't remember where I got the silicone, or I would take it back! What a waste of time, energy, and supplies!!! UUGGGHHH!

BUMMER!!! I had some silicone I used lately and it did not set up either and it's been like 2 months now! Well some of it did and some didn't, so I won't be using that brand again!! I use GE Marine Slicone now and it's the Cat's Meow!!!! I just used it on the bb and bunny I just did.

thanks calamity, I guess maybe there are batches that have something wrong with them. Is the Marine more expensive? Can you find it at Lowes or HD? p.s. loved your bb and bunny!

I haven't had good luck with the GE II either.....maybe be because I bought small tubes and they have been on the shelf longer in the stores....what brand of marine silicone doyou use Janie?
