A Poor Grout Color Choice

It seemed like a good idea, I used green acrylic paint to tint a light green to off white grout. YUK!!! Am NOT happy with this on either one! Was gonna go with black on the bunny and blue on the bb but no, had to try this, well some ya get it bang on and some turn out like this! Washed out looking. I want POP ZING WOW-SZER!!! Off to bed, maybe I'll like it better in the morn!

Looks fine to me, girlie. But if YOU don't like it, just give it a paint wash. You KNOW how to fix it. You go to bed about the time I awake. Been awake since 1:30ish and just couldn't get back to sleep so just got up.

it's 4am...PNW time...can't sleep, cuz the dog barked and woke me up from a light sleep.
so, I'm checking in here...
well, gotta tell you, that I'm very partial to green and all shades of it..
I like it and maybe you aren't pleased with it, because it's out of the most reliable colors and it's a surprise..

I know you'll be sitting there, studying it and trying to imagine about a dozen different colors or shades of green...
give it a few days, it could grow on you like the mossy color it is.

sorta looks like a 'chia pet'.

Like the Ball, not crazy about the bunny.Actually, I LOVE the bunny, not crazy about the color Maybe a more turquoise-y color on the bunny??

They both look so pretty and I think the grout choices are a lot better now. The tesserae really pops!

my computer shows pictures on the dark side, so if I see it right, you made the grout darker green, right?

tonight, I think I'm going to trash this computer and put in one that I had in storage...just brought it in, to day, from the car.

I'm lining up a few monitors and will 86 the towers to the '40'..Vicente said he would put them with the bowling balls, from a long time ago..lol

I have a serious 'dead stash' of computer components.

I agree with Rosie - I totally liked the originals - didn't see anything wrong with them. I thought the grout color was really pretty. But I have to admit, Maria was right - the new color on the bunny is perfect - and really makes it POP. Two beautiful pieces. You're really cranking them out - it's amazing how much you've done lately!

Loved the old bunny, but LOVE LOVE the new bunny! I'm a VERY sloppy painter. Anyway, am I weird (don't answer that) or is the bowling ball unchanged from the first pic? Either way, its beautiful!
