lyndalu- for some ODD reason, I thought it would be cool to do the cat with ceramic tiles. One of those "WHAT was I thinking" moments. I grouted a small part on the back and it actually doesn't look bad. It'll take a ton of grout though.I'm doing it white and hoping the dark spots end up looking a little striped.You can see a little in the 3rd picture

I painted the frame dk blue. I wasn't sure how I was going to do the sides. There's plenty room for grout. I'm hoping to get the grout about the same color as the paint. Or thinking about it, maybe I'll just use the same paint on the grout.

Love that kitty! Pink in the ears... cranberry bow... and green eyes... it's going to be VERY cute! I'm interested to see that pretty blue frame grouted. I've been wanting to try something with pottery instead of glass and that looks very appealing! Nice job!

OK. Can I just say something? I freakin' LOVE that cat!!! It totally looks like something I would do and take and display in my fifth grade classroom at school. And then they would all bug the art teacher to do something similar. I think a charcoal grout would be awesome! The flower is terrific! I didn't think potato salad...then again I am pretty picky about my potato salad...so...eh. I like it. It is a rose? It's very pretty. The picture frame is great, too! You've been busy!!
