OHMYGOODNESS, SHRTY!!!!! That table is to die for. I can see that thing mosaiced, and LOOK at all those wide, flat surfaces and SCALLOPS - WOW. Another mosaicing DREAM piece. Oh, and you couldn't help yourself and cut the mirror right off for the little shelf. Way to go, girlie. That'll be darling when mosaiced. Great plate, and w/a grinder, the feet could come off and it could be a focal piece in a great mosaic. Way to go on buying old jewelry - it really adds to mosaics.

Just can't stop collecting. I find myself being a lot more selective, but still.....I definitely get carried away. But it's so cool to go to my shelves, pick out some plates with a pattern, then keep looking through the shelves to get coordinating solid colors - and be able to find everything I need right there!

I love your stuff Maria...great finds and it was nice that you got to spend time with Dave, so what area were you GS'ing in? It has been so hot that I haven't been out to any sales lately. I am always checking out small tables and shelves though for future TBM projects.
My DD & DS like to GS with me and as a game they walk through in front of me and tell each other the stuff they think I will be interested in and pick up. They almost sound disappointed though when I don't pick something they think I would have been interested in! LOL I tell them that I have trained them well enough that they could go to GS and I could stay home and mosaic!!!

Barb - we went here in Ypsi. There was a church sale. We thought it started on Fri, but Noooooooo. So we sent to a couple sales on the way back. Then went to the church Sat(I found the big shelf thingy there). We didn't go to a whole bunch because it was so hot!!

Some of the glass I cut will be for the wall. I want to get the backer board cut to size tomorrow and cut some more glass!!
