So, here's our plan - her birthday is coming up and it been our tradition for the last few years to keep it small (the 5 girls of her class) and do something special. Last year I took them trail riding. And we considered doing the Pottery store party where they glaze a project and it gets fired... Well, now we've decided that we'll do a home mosaic party, sleep over and they can grout on day 2! It's the 1st week of Nov so I suggested decorating pumpkins. I need fall tones and fun, gems of course and glass and mirrors...

I'm on a mission to make 5 little mosaic addicts by the end of this! lol

Both my kids already have a stash of what they beg from me.... everytime I get something out, they swarm me and beg... can I have one? There are pieces of glass all over my house! lol

That's just wonderful - your plans, and that you've gotten them interested enough in the art to have their own stash. What a wonderful family hobby that could possibly turn into a family business. That's the way these things happen, doncha know?
