Thanks girls...it was a fun party! I got the prize for "most creative" banana!!! The beautiful thing is everyone thought it was real. That is how real it looks. Its called a weighted banana (it has weight to it when you pick it up!!) When I told them it wasn't real they had to check it out again to verify it wasn't real!!!

So glad I wasn't the only one!!!hahah

So why didn't you do real one?
I thought about this alot when I told hubby it was "REAL"
I think the silicone would've been ok....banana's are moist... the grout..would've been iffy....but temporary!
So what made you not do a real one? gotta know!!
I made mine a hula dancer...I spent $20 bucks on a banana

I didn't have the heart to mosaic something that I would destroy!!!! Isn't that silly..even though I wasn't to keen on keeping it and I had to do it in a period of a week after work so I didn't have time to do it all in one night and I was afraid the banana would be bad before I ever got to the party!!

I'll bet your hula girl was really cute!!! The best one we had was a banana swinging in a hammock with sunglasses on sipping a drink...oh ya it even had dread locks!!! It won coolest!
