There is so much for me to learn by just looking at your work! The way you have chosen the lines in the glass to create the 3-d look on the posts, boards and stones, etc. We live in the woods... love the birds... and one day.. I would like to use a pattern similar to this.

Now... very important... would I be right that you used both a saw (Taurus) and grinder in creating this??? (Looking for reasons to invest $in those things. :)

WOW..........the detail.....how on earth did get the deatailing on the rocks..so beautiful! I love the "nature" look of this piece...the bird and the flowers are just so beautiful..........this is just going to be a big WOW.....you're getting as fast as our QUEEN!

Google has a spell checker if you download the toolbar. It works, but you have to remember to use it LOL. As you can tell from my posts, it doesn't always help!!

Thanks everyone. I've been staying up till all hours the last few days, trying to get things done. So glad hubby and DD can sleep through all the grinding and sawing!

Fiddlekate.... I couldn't live without my grinder. The saw
is only needed for a few cuts. When you start using patterns
the saw is a must. You just can't make some cuts without it.

I was thinking a lamp kit with the appliance bulb.
I haven't looked to see what's out there yet. I was going to try a string of christmas lights first, and see how well that works.

And this is going to be another gorgeous one. Wow - I'm loving it!!

It's funny - several lately have apologized for spelling errors - and I didn't even notice them. I think sometimes you know what the word is going to be and your eye just sees what it's supposed to be - like grout instead of grount (or something like that)....I know what it's supposed to be - so no big deal!!

Chickee......It's a Terra pattern. I'm grouting black. I grout almost everything black these days! I need to look for a different green to fill in, the one I got is too close to some of the leaves. So it's on the back burner
for now, and the torso is up next.

That is absolutly gorgous!!! Speaking of Christmas lights, have you thought about the rope lights? I think you might get a more even coverage with that. But then, they are quite bright.... Can't wait to see the back ground filled in!
