I'd been to the kp shop before they closed their storefront
and viewed the "faux china" in person...my opinion
was that it was very nice, and indeed looked like oldtime
china.

Ok, I bit and looked it up.
Couldn't imagine what 'faux china' would be. I was thinking on the lines plastic or glass plates and such.
Chintz printed tiles, I should have guessed! Very pretty, a lot of old houses in England had them, we had violets on our old wash stand.

The sunflower birdhouse is made with the faux china and it's also the flower motifs in the other 2.

I agree with Hazie, it's great to work with because it is flat!

This is so funny. I found a plate at TJMaxx that I loved, bought it, brought it home, and then discovered that I had the same pattern in faux china! LOL! I had bought it from arcticmermaid a while back, because their faux china is slightly thinner than KPT.

The plate was cheaper, but the faux china is easier to cut with nippers!

TJMax huh? it's stunning... mmmmmmmmmmm

FYI- KPT supposedly just changed their tiles to the thinner tiles. I had to buy a whole new lot for my pitcher because the first ones (that I didn't have enough of) were a different thickness.
