I just KNEW it would be gorgeous before I even looked ----- and I was right !!!!!!! The wings blow me away ! You did it again .... made my jaw drop :) ( I need bandaids for my poor chin ) LOL

How did your open house go?

It went well, after a rainy start. I arrived at Annii's at 7:15 and it was raining heavily. Unloaded in the rain and got set up and no customers until 10 a.m. The sun came out and things picked up. One lady just breezed in, bought over $200 of smaller items from me plus jewelry and scrapbooks from Annii. I had some repeat customers from last year which was nice. None of my big stuff sold, lots of admiring comments but no sales. My main sales were decoupaged cigar boxes, picture frames, and garden stones. So had to pack up the mosaic busts, big space mosaics, mosaic guitar, etc. and bring back home. All in all, a fun day visiting with friends and meeting new people. Annii wants to have another one Nov. 22, which I am okay with, but I need to do some smaller items before then. I slept like a log last night; got my exercise yesterday.

Small sales are good, and much better than no sales at all! At least it won't take as long to whip up some smaller things for the next open house and maybe people will be ready to buy some of your bigger items for Christmas gifts!

I love the cats paw texture on that drk pink glass in the bee piece, it reflects light in such a neat way and adds a lot to a piece doesn't it. 2 of the green I put in growth have it and its just as cool as iridescent for interest
