First Experiment with Tempered Glass

I thought I'd try using the tempered glass in different ways just to see how it looks. Here is my first attempt. I took a 6" piece of wood, painted a design on it, then used the tempered glass over it and used black grout. Really interesting how it turned out. I am going to try using glass stain on my next try.

Cool experiment, sirius! I really like the way it looks in the final pic...got the entire side window from a '96 caddy in the garage that I keep forgetting is there. Guess I'll get it out this week-end and see what I can do! Thanx for the pretty reminder!!

Was all one large sheet......or did you have tiny pieces?

On colored bowling balls it looks reallllly cool. I'm working on one now that is gold swirly. The previous one I did was blue, pink, and green.

It does indeed, take on a life of its own.
