Very cool idea! It's hard to see the "depth" in the photo cuz you didn't give us any close ups! Looks like there's some painting in there, and faceted gems, a button maybe? Great idea!

The photo doesn't do ANYTHING for the real thing. I'm not a photographer. There is depth in the nicho. I made a little tin box to go behind the hole in the facing. I lined it w/a sorta metallic gold fabric and added the Christmas ornament cross. The meaning is "Art is Whatever", and a celebration that I was successful in making the little nicho. Even though the nicho is very primitive, I feel it is a success cuz it was an experiment. No buttons, ROSIE - mostly beads, earrings, rhinestone jewelry, a couple of keys, a few pieces of poly clay and yes, there is some fuschia painting on the triptych but most of it was covered up by the tesserae. It's not quite as blue as it appears. I thoroughly messed it up w/PSP. Thanks y'all. Started the mannequin as soon as this project was over, but am too tired to make much progress. Already have to take some things off tomorrow.

Ah, I was wondering what all this lingo was but I'm glad you posted some more, but still don't know what PSP is?! Could you take a pic from another angle like Hazie did with her mirror? Pleeeaase...

Slow, I love that closeup. I can really appreciate your symbols and intricate work. VERY CREATIVE!!! I LOVE your free flow thinking. My mind is so organized - not my house, my work space, my kitchen, nor my car but I am constantly working on trying to organize myself.
