Just beautiful....do you butter the pieces and then place....or smear the adhesive on and then place...what adhesive are you using....wow...think I can think of another question? This is just stunning...never used crash glass.........!

Hey everybody, thanks! This is the first time I've used the crash glass, GYPSY. It is so fun! I couldn't imagine buttering each piece, way too time consuming for me and my ADD! ;) I'm using GEII. I kinda squirt a little around in an area, then push it around evenly with a toothpick (ACTUALLY, I'm using a big paperclip with one end straightened now, holds up well and has a "handle".) Then I put the glass into the thin layer of GEII. I've got quite a bit more done tonight already, and not quitting just yet (DH not home!)

And to think I didn't like this tabletop when I first started it!

Your table top is looking great. I love the design you've done.As far as grout color goes.. what color is the base? I would go with something similar.

Well, LADY, this doesn't surprise me in the least, that it's gonna be another masterpiece. In the beginning I was a little nervous FOR you cuz I could feel your searching and searching and trying to get a direction on this one. I said to self - in the end, she'll get it and it'll be a knockout. You lived up to my prediction to self. This is truly beautiful, and I LOVE the addition of the crash glass. HAZIE, if you got the glass in large sheets, IMO, that would take the fun out of piecing it back together puzzle-like.

Your placing technique is the same thing I do for the crash glass! Goes so much faster that way, and I've found it to be much more uniform, also.

Beautiful Ronnie,I think charcoal.I've had a piece of glass 4 ft x4 ft in my garage for a year but afraid to break it...anyone wanta bring a hammer and come? You're doing a great job on your table.

The table is awesome!!! Im glad you like it now!!!! It really is very pretty. I love crash glass too!!! I don't use it much and get bored with it easily but it still is fun to do. I am always amazed at how fast it really does go. I also do not glue each piece...too tedious!!!

It will look great done...I vote for black also!!
