Mirrors Mirrors on the wall! Really creative...are those really navel rings? Really unique idea...I thought they were just very pretty marbles I hadn't seen before......you made two winners!!!!

Both wonderful mirrors. LOVE the black one. Am I the only one who doesn't know what naval rings are? Never heard of/have seen them.

What an awesome idea!! My daughter 20, was working as a piercer near Aspen through the summer. That would've been perfect for the shop. Wish I would've thought of that!

I'm curious, did you buy a store frame and insert mirror? I keep wondering if they are strong enough for mosaic glass.

Maria they both look great and I agree it is really hard sometimes to get a good photo, especially with a mirror when you don't want to be seen in the picture! LOL They are going to love them!

Slow...navel rings are used when someone gets their belly button pierced.

To clarify a little better...they wear the navel rings AFTER they have had their belly button pierced.

It's not so bad Slow! I had mine done years ago, and it didn't hurt as bad as getting my ears pierced.

D3bbi- the black one is a TS mirror. Not really very big. The second is from Michaels-for $5 by the time I fooled around with wood and mirror, I figured it was worth it. I think they are sturdy enough.

shrty- take a picture of the black one with something covering the mirror. The picture will turn out better. It looks great though from what I can see!

If it sticks...we can use it!!! Nothing is sacred to mosaicing!!! Awesome idea for the use of the naval rings.

I really love that Van Gogh mirror... something about using that glass in an ordered pattern is so rich looking isn't is? What color are you gonna grout them?

I think they are both going to be grouted black. Has to be on the "pierced" mirror, and I think the black will go good with the VG.
