Diamonds really are a girl's best friend!lol! My opinion is the top fanned out ones to go with the middle. It's gonna look so good without that white paper behind it!

LOVE the cobalt. I like CALAM's suggestion on the diamonds. Have you thought of using cobalt globs for the border instead of those aqua ones, or w/you use cobalt on the outside of those for a dark frame? I see your sketch plans to have squares.

My artsy DS thought the same on the diamonds, and that was my leaning as well, so it's euonymous (wait, that's that hedge growing out by the driveway).
JANIE: It'll probably have a white table top behind it anyway. The tabletop is solid wood, not open. I've thought about raising the glass and putting white Christmas lights under it, maybe.
SLOW: The aqua globs are already glued, the only thing free is the diamonds at this point. I do like the idea of cobalt outside in the border somehow. I think my whole problem with this one is that cobalt, though I love it. It just doesn't "go" with the aqua and purple-pink. Gotta figure how to tie it all together. It'll happen!

No doubt you'll make it work. IMO EVERYTHING "goes" in mosaic.

Ronnie. Can you just change the four corner glass globs to the cobalt? Somewhere I read things/colors in threes make for balance. That could bring in your third,sort of, section of the cobalt.

I LOVE the aqua with the purple. One of my favorite combinations. Your table is going to be wonderful. Diamonds are GREAT. To me they seem to give the table top action or movement.
