Can't sleep.. just looking at mosaic artist's web sites and came across this one: Pamela Irving.. AU.

Isn't that little dog cute?!!!

But... now click on "Mosaic" at the top.... and you'll see how she spent 3 months... and 50,000 tiles creating "Louis!: He's amazing.. and gorgeous!

Hey.. this is not making me sleepy.. it's waking me up!

Wow!! Thats a HUGE HOLY DAWG SNOT!!!!
Can you imagine? 50,000 tiles for a DOG!!! Now, I'd understand if it were for a cat, but a DOG??? LOL!!!

Yeah, I'd seen that one. I would get sooooooo bored before finishing something that huge. Talented lady, for sure.

soooo cool! Thanks for posting that - I had not seen it. Wow. Makes what I thought was a BIG project (my big vase) seem so small!!!

Yup... as much as I REALLY like the dog.... just can't imagine putting on all that same color tile either, Slow. It's so nicely done though.. and I love the big hearts.
