Sticking Bevels to Interior Door

18 years ago

I have a pair of large clear glass French doors between my living room and sun room with wide wooden frames. I'd like to edge the glass with bevels instead of making thin and tall copper taped panels with u-channel edges. Is there a glass glue that would hold them and remain clear? The doors can't be slammed shut so I don't have to worry about cracking them or having them fall off from stress. What do you think I could use? Or is this a dumb idea, gluing them directly to the glass?
