I'm redoing my living room, (frugally), and need some input on furniture colors. Want to go "beachy" after being pretty dark for years. My couch is a pale beige and white, beige recliner, oyster walls (newly painted), and cream sheers on the windows. I want to add color with the furniture and accessories. I have a hutch that is painted kind of a teal/turqoise and the rest of furniture is very dark. I want to paint them, but think that painting the others the same color as the hutch would be too much. Anyone have any good ideas on contrasting colors? I'm afraid to go white because of the light walls and curtains in here. I can't go out and buy a bunch of new tables, etc. right now, so I figure painting is the best thing.

Thanks!!!
