I have seen some couches done by other artists.Virginias are really great too. They are on my to-do list!! SOMEDAY!!! I wonder if its on wheels so you can move it easy or if they use a dolly..Im at work so I only looked at the pictures quickly but I'll go back later when Im at home and check it out further!!

I wonder if they would be to anchor it to the ground when it is done?? I sure wish there were finished pictures of it.

I read an email from her (on another forum I frequent) that said she has a self-imposed deadline of grouting it this weekend. I'm sure there will be more pictures soon after.

Thanks for sharing that, wench. Building a "couch" or a "chair" and then mosaicing it is one of my BIGGEST dreams. I've collected a folder full of pictures of really cool ones I've seen. Will definitely do this one day.

This reminds me of the one I saw in a book - can't remember which one now - of an artist (was it Jo Ann Loctov???) - who did the sofa, w/the look of soft, floppy cushions, a little table w/lamp etc. In fact, it was a whole living area. I thought I bought the book but can't find it. I wouldn't have the patience to stick w/something so huge. I LOVE the orange vase in her gallery entitled "untitled". Wonder what she used to make the 3-D rope effect?
