I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I thought I was bad last time in spending $150 on glass. I was thinking of taking a class there on fusing. I'll be going back to the store on Monday to get new heads for the grinder and other supplies. I'm staying away from the glass this time.

I was just sitting here drooling over the glass and then I had to laugh at myself. How we get so excited to see each others purchases. I bought some of the same red, green, and blue/green. Except you bought bigger chunks of glass. You got a great selection to work from.

I haven't check into glass in Raleigh, but I bet there are some shops there.

Yes, that glass store is great! There aren't but a couple in Charlotte anymore. And that's the best one. I live in Harrisburg, NE of Charlotte, so it's a ways for me to go, but I do! I have bought some of the most beautiful glass there in the past. You just can't have to much glass!!!
If I'm over near Atlanta, I like to stop in at Armstrong glass and go thru their boxes of large broken pieces. They sell it by the pound and I've gotten some great deals. Last time I spent $130 That's alot of large scrap!!

SandieNC you don't live to far from me. There use to be a stained glass store in concord. I need to go down and see if it is still there. I heard they were closing. It was on church street.

That orange glass is called baroque glass. Sandie, you are making me sooo jealous!!! If I lived near a glass factory, they'd have to hire me and pay me with glass!!!!
