Love the different textures. Black grout will probably mute the colors some, but not sure what other color to use. I wish I could think chunky like you but am stuck in my box...

D3bbi....there aren't any other symbols...after I grout it tomorrow...and get it cleaned up, I'll try and take a better shot of it......it's full of junk..beads, rocks, etc...I might keep this.....I have another one started...surpise....LOL......but my daughter wants it......black grout it is........Hazie..I'm not capable of being organized and planning....LOL..so I just have to dive in......my brain is a mosaic!

I love it that we get to see so many different styles, and I think it makes us all grow - because we see something we admire, and we want to try it ourselves. Or we've procrastinated about trying something - but then we see someone else do it, and it gives us motivation to get in gear and do it, too!

Well, this baby is grouted...I still need to give it the vinegar and water sponge bath......and then seal...I sort of think maybe I should have gone with a lighter grout, as some of the stained glass tiles sort of drowned? Too late...it is what it is! And no way am I gonna change it........took a side view so you could see how I did the edges to finish it off.......this is a wallhanging. I think the grouted holes in the crosses..I need to glue a something over them...looks too "fake" with the grout filler. *si

I think the dark grout is PERFECT! It gives your piece depth... almost 3-D-ish levels. (Not a word... but you know what I mean.) I really DO like this piece, Gypsy!!!

I just love coming on here and seeing what everyone is doing, and here is another great piece to learn from and enjoy. I don't know what you mean about the black grout & the glass, I don't see anything wrong, I think it's great!

Gypsy I LOVE this!!! The sides are so pretty too. This is the first I have seen them. WOW. I think what lumps are in your work is what makes it so interesting. The crosses are just wonderful I wish we had a Hobby lobby near us. I even looked and no online for them. Wonder if Michaels is online?? Black grout is perfect for this piece.

Well, bless my soul! I saw this in email but it is sooooooo very much more beautiful grouted, and YES, the black is PERFECT. NT nailed it - very iconic. What are those circle thingies around the mirror? I LOVE all the circles. Also love how you did the iconic shape over the bottom cross. Girlie, I repeat - I wish I had just a thimble-full of your talent. This is absolutely one of my favorites of your projects. Sure makes me want to get up early tomorrow and get back to gluing, or rather, not go to sleep and start now, but am much too tired to work at night. Don't know how you do it. Wonderful piece, and YES, KEEP THIS ONE!!!
