Sounds good to me...I did a "store" search...and no place around me sells it...did a 64 mile search..there is a HD about ten miles up the road..and I guess they haven't gotten it yet?????

I will have to give that a try. I hate the GEII, and have been using E6000. The fumes are so bad with that one, but I like that it bonds faster, with less slippage on the 3D stuff, and it comes off my hands like rubber cement does,
kinda balls up. But it's so unhealthy. So I gotta try something new. I'll be looking for that. Thanks for the info!

They don't have it yet where I am at HD or Lowe's. I'll keep looking. Has anyone tried Liquid Nails "Clear Seal"? Says it "stays crystal clear, will not yellow, clearer than silicone...". I bought a tube to try. Will report back.

I have used liquid nails for inside projects with no problems also weld bond for glass on wood etc...

Only one HD about 30 miles from me carries it (about 1000 HD between me and there).I'll try it when one close gets it, I'm sick of GEII

Maria, I am about sick of the geII also. The clean up is just too much if you ask me.

Annie I have never used liquid nails but I'm gonna look for it and do a cost comparison.

Hazie-I tried E6000 too and the fumes are awful and the tube is made of metal so when it's squeezed you better squeeze it from the bottom or you'll have a heck of a time getting it out of there!

One of the major perks I noticed withe the phenoseal was how easy it came out of the tube. So happy hunting guys!!

I saw this at Lowe's this week while looking for something to do my penny ball with. I went with the T&Ts of liquid nails (which I now reread and see someone had glass marbles popping off with that) and GEII. I haven't had problems working with GEII, but it does get hard to get out of the tube.

I am not convinced the luquid nails is going to work and am a little gunshy on the GEII. Anyone have this working well outdoors after a period of time now?

Hey sounds interesting. What kind of project did you try it on? (Substrate/tessarae) Did you try a GOG? I found an offer for a free sample.

I sent for a sample also. I wsas going to try some this weekend, but I discovered that the tube I got was white instead of clear.

I *think* the sample is white. It doesn't really say, but the picture shows a tube of white. It'll still be good for testing & for opaque tessarae. Hey, free is free, right?

Any up-dates on this? Has anyone tried GOG? How long does it take to turn clear? Have you guys (gals) noticed how toxic they are? Both the clear and the white say to use gloves. Like we need to battle with gloves! I've received my sample but would like to hear of any experiments.

Ew. I hadn't noticed about the gloves. I got a tube of white by accident and took it back. I apparently set the tube of clear down while looking in another department and didn't get home with it. GEII isnt' that bad for clean up -- I use Dawn to wash my hands and it pretty much gets it off. The baby wipes clean off my work surface as well as my hands while working. I'm okay withthat, so maybe I'll just stick to what I know.

Er-uh, if y'all are worried about toxicity, take a read on the net about GE II. The stuff is P.O.I.S.O.N. My student printed out some of the info, and it was so bad I didn't even finish the article. Don't wanna know cuz I gotta die of something, and I want to go mosaicing!!!

Too funny Slow. I wasn't really worried about it. I get it on my work some but not too much on my hands.

I figured anything that smells like that and works like that isn't something you're supposed to bathe in. I hope that if I'm working with something that really needs to be handled with gloves, they will say so in readable print instead of the micro stuff. Love trying to read the expiration date on the GEII tubes -- pressed intot he crimping in small white on white on white.
