WOW! You are awesome!!! That's what I wanna do and why I NEED a bigger craft room! Wanna do craft shows and so need inventory!!! Here I am pushing to get this new room done at such a perfect time!ha! Christmas just isn't stressfull enough anymore now that the kids are grown!lol!!! I have so many craft ideas in my head that I am finding it hard to nail down one for the gift exchange!!!

Susan it looks great. Good luck with the craft shows. The one we did this weekend well it was a christmas show was a bust. We didn't even make the rent. And everyone there didn't either. Lots of mad people. We did sell some things.

The grout color will be my usual gray.
I didn't grind anything, but I did tumble the blue fill in glass for a few minutes. The brown glass is van faux and has some purple and gold in it. I'll post a close up of it later.

You know, bama, you are starting to get on my nerves. Your work is absolutely stunning in its' design, perfectly executed, you do a project faster than I can even think what to do, you make your own van faux, and now, you don't even tumble! Seriously, I eagerly await all your project pics cause I know I'm going to be awed again.

Chick, Rosie: I plan on doing craft shows, but I haven't done one yet.Trying to get a lot of stuff done so the booth will be very attention getting. I'm thinking Spring will be a good time to start.
I love doing the garden stones the most, but you know how dang heavy those things can be! That's why I'm doing more mirrors, and other hangy stuff now.

I like the colors... and like the fact that I can picture it used turned sideways also. If I were purchasing... it might be nice to have that choice. Turned the way you have it... it looks almost southwestern/Native American to me (DD and granddaughter live in TX so I have it on my mind lately. :) However... turned on it's side... it might remind me of a cityscape...and appeal to city folks. What I'm saying is... Congratulations on creating a wonderfully marketable piece! Best wishes in your quest to create a piece a week.

Your mirror is beautiful and so perfectly done. I love the design and I see what fiddlekate is saying - it looks good turned the other way too - a completely different look.

May I ask what is van faux? the van faux has a wonderful patina - I love it. And you say a mirror - does the mirror go in the middle? And the pieces you used to mosaic - are they glass? Excuse my ignorance but I know next to nothing about mosaic. But am trying to learn.

Wonderful piece. I wish you luck at the craft show circuit. Have you taken any of your pieces to a gallery? Just a thought - they are so beautiful.

No, that picture just shows a close up of one corner. You're just seeing the grout lines between the pieces,
which btw, shows my cutting or placement is not PERFECT ;).
Springville, do a thread search on Faux Van Gogh. We talked about it quite a while.

NT, I haven't checked into booth fees yet. Will when I get farther along. I do want to try gallery selling, but da-haaang!! The commisions they take! Even though I'm not going into it just for the money, I don't want to give it away.

WOW Bama I do not know how I missed your mirror. So glad I caught up with it and all finished already. Very nice. I love the design and colors. You did great on your Van Faux. I have not tried it yet. Going to one of these days.
