I was reading an article about gog. The lady was doing a vase using Weldbond. She first painted a thin coat of glue over the entire thing,let that dry, then attached her pieces with a THIN coat, which reactivated the previous layer.
Maybe you put the glue on too thick? How long has it been?
Plus I guess weather has something to do with drying time.

It turned out terrific. I love all the patterns & directions of your glass.

The squares around the border had Weldbond around the outside only, but when smooshed down to assure adhesion, it crept inward. So now I'm sure the outside edges are dry but the insides are still cloudy . . .

I've had it happen before it just takes FOREVER to dry - like 3 - 4 months in some cases.

The grout really gave the piece a life of it's own. It looks great! So very different from your style. Seems we are all jumping out of the box right now. It's really fun to watch.

It will ultimately hang in a window in my kitchen like a cornice board. Once it's done and hung I'll take another picture (maybe the sun will shine then!!).

It's amazing how it looks grouted. Really beautiful. I wish I could get outside my comfort zone and try something like that. Where are you going to put it?

WENCH: LOVE it! I realy like geometrics because it provides a sense of balance. Isn't this a departure from your usual style? The colors are wonderful and everything really melds well. BEAUTEOUS!

LOL Hazie!! The frame is the SAME COLOR in both photos.

I just sanded down the edges and painted them to match the majority of the frame.

Ok...I looked again and the one with flash looks the same, but it looks so much darker in the very first pic!

Came out great! Love it! I was very glad to see several different pictures in different light. It gives a real all around idea of what it looks like in person. Keep us posted on how long it takes to dry!
