OH I agree with every one else. Your window is WONDERFUL!! I really like the use of different size squares in the different colors. It is all so interesting. So how long does well bond take to dry? Days weeks??

It's perfect! Such nice small lines, almost don't have to grout! Beautiful!!!!
( weldbond is great, but can take forever to dry!)

MW, that is just BEAUTIFUL!!! It's a piece to study on how you placed your square pieces on the angle. Very interesting.

Chris, the drying of Weldbond depends on the humidity, amount of glue, etc.

That is SO-O-O-O Beautiful!! What a true pleasure it has been to watch this project take shape!!

I did the Weldbond only around the edges of the larger pieces and it's still taking FOREVER to dry.

I have used the Mac glue for most of it and I love the way it dries clear so quickly but I hate, hate, HATE the cleanup after it's dry. It's sticky and very resistant to scraping off even with a blade.

I emailed the person who created it and he says there is really no solvent reccomended for it. . . .hmmmm.

I've found 91% alcohol works pretty well but it's still a pain.

Here's the back-lit version today. It's pretty dreary outside so it's not as brightly back-lit as I'd like, but you get the idea.

Black grout will make all those colors pop.

Thanks for the backlit version...it really shows off the glass. I love how you used the opus circumactum for the greens (did I get that right???). I think your window is awesome Wench and I can't wait to see it grouted!

Now all the glass is in place and just waiting for it to dry.

I have a fan on it so hopefully that will speed the process . . . . well I can hope, anyway!

Wow, that's just gorgeous, the grout is really gonna make it all pop. Wellbond is so slow to dry. Some smaller pieces I have put in my oven on a low temperature to speed up the drying time.

OH Wench. I LOVE your window. I think it shows up so pretty being back lit. I had no idea there was green in it. I still just love the way you laid down the fill in to slightly follow the curves. I think it gives the piece motion. As silly as this sounds the few glass globs look just like jewels. I REALLY LOVE the whole look of this piece.
