Does she want you to make a gold mirror or do something with one of hers?? How about Van Faux with either gold leaf or gold spray paint And gold mirror tiles?? You could take some clear globs ( or see if they have goldish ones and either gold leaf or paint clear ones? Sort of an abstract all in gold w/different textures. maybe spray some keys gold!!

oh yeah!!!! how bout mirror, van gogh, clear globs painted, crash glass over gold paint, glitter tiles, gold keys... yes maria, all one color but mixed textures and patterns! perfect.

I'll be picking a mirror out to decorate, it seems that all of hers are ?? 9" X 12" ish... I could make something I think?

Oh, yeah, that's going to be good. How about some ts jewelry and spray it gold. something different that may not usually found in gold..thinking along the lines of flowers or something like that

I've always had this thing about monochrome and usually end up doing it in my designs.

Well, I see this is the start of the thread I just responded to. I have those small gold glitter or (maybe the metallic ones) tiles from M/Maria, and I was disappointed in them. Not glitzy enough for me. Can never find a place to use them. Lots of good suggestions here on making your own tesserae.
