Got the side window from a '97 Caddy several months ago, but didn't have anything in mind for it at the time. Read the post about coating it w/ Weldbond before whacking on a corner to break it. Go some nice sized pieces - up to double the size of mu hand. The glue held it together well enough that I **could** have just about laid the whole thing down at once....but didn't have the foresight to know that...LOL!! So, I have a box of good sized "sheets" of broken crash glass....do I adhere it with the Weldbond side down next to my substrate or up?? If I put it down, the GEII will be sticking to the glue, not the glass...If I put if up, the glue will have to be soaked off before I can grout. Anybody have a guess as to which would work better???
