I did this one whilst the door was upright, hence the simple pattern. It wasnt difficult though because the silicone holds the peices on perfectly with no sliding at all!

That is so stunning! I'm sure that puts a beautiful soft rosy light through. Great Job! When I do gog, I don't think my "backside" (that too) would hold up to close scrutiny with the bubbles and smeared glue look I always have. Did you do anything special to the other side?

Oh, and J, have always loved your window with the glass globs. I think that's when I decided I wanted to incorporate glass globs in my first one.

Today I bought a bunch of glass with the idea of doing like the window I posted, as a window for my front door, it will have a dragonfly, frog, lillies, bullrushes...you have inspired me!!!

VV- Your work is so inspiring! I've said on here before that I don't really have any interest in learning SG just yet (but admire al the lovely works!), but this GOG thing is TOTALLY doable! Beautiful!!!

I bet it looks beautiful walking up to it. I am way too scared to try that to our garage door. Love the colors and the glass gems.

Hey diytrying,
I try and be really careful with the silicone when applying the glass and push down firmly so there are no air bubbles. I also do alot of scraping of glue before grouting so that both sides look good. If you are really worried about the "other side" you can use a clear ripples glass so you cant really see the glue.
