oh, please leave it in the tan grout...
it shows up the dark colors so well and the black would be nice but it would darken the darks and hide the rock pieces..
it's beautiful the way you have finished it and will be seen by many more than you can imagine!

if you change anything, just change out the furniture and fabrics in your front room, to tipi canvas and fringed leather, for the throw blankets over the couch...

what you have done is a serious work of art and you should be extremely proud and rest assured that others will wonder how you ever came up with the idea!

GASP!! Its done and looks fabulous! I really like that bronzy looking glass over her left shoulder..oh, and the tiger eye..and the arrowheads....
You've done such a great job. The grout doesn't bother me at all, and I'm generally a gray grouter.
So, now that she's finished, what's next?

A darker grout will give her more of "sinister" feel I think, though. Perhaps a darker brown rather than black??

Hazie...Tiger Lilly is what she is.........she is just stunning! The grout is good...........I really love the natural, nature...look of her......colors just warm and wild at the same time! You have done an outstanding work of art.............I'm thrilled for you....she is awesome!

OH Hazie she is just stunning. I love the buckskin brown grout. I too was admiring your consistency in your grout lines. She is wonderful. Are you going to light her up? I was considering running one of those rope lights up my Louise's leg. to light her from the inside. Forgot to pick one up when we were in town the othr day.

Hazie~ I wouldn't change the grout color. She's P E R F E C T! The grout color shows off all your pieces.

I think this is my favorite mannequin of any I've ever seen. Not that the others were ugly but she is magnificent, opulent, ostentatious, pleasing, plush, pretentious, pulchritudinous, ravishing, resplendent, showy, splendid, splendiferous, stunning, sublime, sumptuous, & superb (used a thesaurus). I like splendiferous the best. :0)

I saw your post and I was "hurray something pretty to look at before going to work." OMG Girl that is absoulutely stunning!!!!!!!!! I also love the color of the grout. I am not so much for black alot of the times it hides the color of the glass. Your colors just POP with the lighter grout. I know it will take several looks to take it all in. GREAT JOB!

Ok, maybe a darker brown, but truly stunning as is. Very dramatic, earthy and just gorgeous! That tiger eye just says "WOW" to me.

HAZIE, she's perfect just like she is. I agree with Becky, darker grout would hide too much. Don't mess with perfection!

Really pretty. Love the different rocks on it. I don't think I would change the grout. Let her sit around for awhile and see if the color grows on you. Where are you planning on putting her? If I had the room I would try making one and use it to hang my necklaces.

She is looking a little better to me today, against the red wall where she will reside. The grout looks a little darker than in the photo too.
