should everyone make a sub folder? how many subfolders can you have in a photobucket account? lol....or should we just add a pic,and use our name in the pic so everyone knows who made it?

good idea,so when we make something do we post in photobucket and gw or just photobucket...I'll just watch what all of you do LOL.And did we decide one of your exchange gift pictures is of us with the item so we can see what everyone looks like again ..we have so many newbies we haven't seen

'splain again. Is this for exchanges? Don't understand. I think I have too many in my album to try to move them there. BTW - I got a message re maintenance - no option to enter a password.

GREAT idea, BAMA! Why didn't I think of that! I looked at pbase just yesterday, where Madhabitz had created the albums for us, but it is not free. Glad you thought of this! Any rules? Just finished pics to keep from making it too cluttered? Or subalbums for each of us? And if subalbums, you might want to give step-by-steps on how to do that...Am I making this way too complicated?? Sorry!

I hope this dawg can learn new tricks......I will follow the leaders.........hopefully! Not really clear, but I will wait for the answers above!

Maybe everyone should create a 'sub-album' with their GW screen name and only load finished works...leave this site for the WIP's.........? That way it won't get too overloaded.

I added a sub-album for myself, but only had time to add a couple pix. If this isn't good, someone can delete it and let me know later okay?

I thought this would be a place for finished pieces only. Not a storage area for things we post on here, but just a "one stop shop" to see all our handiworks without having to go searching through posts to find them.
The sub folders was a great idea I hadn't thought of!
Maybe I crated a monster, but I really wanted somewhere to showcase this forum and the art!

I see this becoming like Mad's site. The password is out there for the world to see, to add pics, remove them etc.
Do you think it's better than here?

I added one picture to my own album. We can click on each other's albums to look at it. I like this !

Hazie, I changed it to a private album. That way you must sign in to do any changes or to view all the albums.

Maybe I jumped the gun too early, but I wanted to get it running before the swap. There is still time to make changes. Suggestions are encouraged.
I have the watering cans (I think all of them) and I'll get those uploaded soon. I'll see if I can do the pans and the bowls too.
No problem if you don't want to participate!

Oh - I See - there's alittle lock next to our albums name. Once we're logged in - we can look at anyone's albums.

One question about Photobucket .... will the free account be able to handle all our uploads ? I thought if you have more than a certain amount of MB - you have to pay.

Bama - regarding what Hazie was saying. There was concern about giving the password out here, as this is public. Mad had people email her... she had to recognize them as posters. Some people were concerned about having their pictures in a "public" album ( which it is, once the pass word is in a public place.)

Personally, I don't care, but there were some here that did. If someone could resurect the old thread, it may help ( where she was first setting up the site) I couldn't find it.

The only other concern is what a few others have said..how much storage do we have?

Another concern.. if Pbase isn't free..we will loose those pics if mad is not keeping it up ( since no reply, I assume not).

If it gets to where we need more storage room, I can upgrade the account.

I think it's a great idea. Too bad we don't have "sticky" posts to leave it at the top for newbies.

Re: "public"...if there are those of us who have issues with our pic being "out there" I think it's easy enough to say "no thank you" and not provide it. It's not that we don't trust YOUSE-GUYS...it's the creeps-of-the-world that some of us take issue with and prefer not to post our faces on the net. I just need a cool mask...

Yes, you can do that and view as a guest, but you will not be able to upload, edit or delete photos while in that mode.

I really love this private album! Have been perusing all day. CALAM: Is this a recent photo? WHERE are you? Looks like a VERY artsy place!
For as long as we can use PhotoBucket for free, let's do it and not worry about any problems before they occur.

That Pic was taken earlier this year when Squirrelly Canadian came to visit Klinger and Me! I made a sign to wave when she drove off the ferry, so we could pick her up on this side, boy did I get a lot of honks and waves!!!ha! (Klinger hid (ducking) in the car!) We took her to a Coffee
House called Mermaid's Cove, the Lady who owns it has a very interesting house and car! As you can see by these pics, this gal could be one of us!!!

I just added some pics,some are on there twice but with new stuff in the same pic.......I should have taken pics of each project. And there's more as soon as I take pics of them. Loved looking at everyone's art, especially tea pots,that's (one of) my next projects!

Well, I feel like a real idiot! I've already registered with photo buck. And every time I go there, it automatically connects me to my page. Can some one tell me how to get to the
'sign in' for gw page?? I've done searches and hopped all over and it still recognises me as me. Help me, help me, I want to look too...........

On the top right of the photobucket page check the "logout" button, then you can log in again with the other GWGLASS.

Yel-Rose...that happened to me too unfornately you have to sign out of your own acct. so you can go into this one. i guess it's because we stay signed into our own Pb acct's.

yes from what I understand from the other site is that someone was deleting pictures so she had to change it so no one can add or delete pics..you can only view with the public password of mosaic..
