Just HAD to have it!

Well...I saw this Mikasa china plate and a companion salad plate at GW last week, but thought that was too much money ($9 for both!)

Kept thinking about them...making plans about

them....couldn't stand it anymore, had to stop on my way to work and get 'em and, yep, paid the $9.

The picture isn't as good as I'd like, but maybe you could

zoom in and really see those beautiful colors!!

How much is too much for a plate if you really, really, really love it?

It is beautiful and you will make it worth much more than a measly $9!!! What will it be in its' next life?

You got a really good buy, that design was not cheap. Going on what I would have to pay to replace my Mikasa bone china I would guess at least $30 for that plate.
Now I'm headed back to my cringe corner with a box of Kleenex in case I hear you smash it.

$9 isn't too much if it makes your heart sing. I would bet that we all buy stuff without knowing exactly what it will be used for. Surely I'm not the only one?!
