so I opted to attempt a GOG with a small cognac glass, did 2 sides and got bored.

I guess I'm not in the mood... it's just that let down thing at the end of a project... do and I don't or maybe I just don't want to do a meaningless project...

Going through the same thing, NT, right now. Got the exchange gift and two more things ready to grout. Because it's so warm outside today, I have the wet saw set up and have been cutting plates all day. Have NOT O.N.E. clue how to use all these wonderful colored plate shards. I don't EVER remember being this un-inspired. Just don't know what to do next. Not even in the mood to work on Lally. Put a few pieces on a little teensy wall plaque yesterday, thinking it'd get me back in the mood, but NOT. So, I'll continue to cut plates today cuz it's bound to get winter here soon, and too cold to work outside w/water going everywhere from the saw. I DO love my wet saw. Cuts those plates lickety split.

Good thread NT. And I agree with you. Gluing for the sake of gluing, doesn't have quite the impact for me as doing something that has a specific purpose or is for a specific person, or you have a fairly good idea of what you want to see in the end. But I also know that sometimes you just need a fix!!

And good ideas guys! My list gets longer and longer....

I'm having just the opposite problem. I'm dying to start something, and I'm sitting around waiting for glass orders to come in. The mail is just too darn slow!

so we made salt dough. Do you think it's a function of being right handed that all my animals are walking to the right? seriously I couldn't make one going left, wierd huh?

DD made the zebra head in the middle then she had me trace her hand. It's hard to play with kids sometimes cause they get frustrated that mommy can make things.... I just keep saying Mommy has 40 years of practise and they'll catch up one day! lol

LOL I sort of felt this way when I was doing the little dresser. Sort of mindless gluing to be gluing. The glass is perfect for the dresser and shelf and there was enough and it must have been meant to be. I am still not thrilled to have done it. It is done and I will get pictures in the morning. Not enough light tonight.

Tonight was supposed to be mine and DD's mosaic night again,
and she had a friend over with boyfriend problems, so I played alone...still waiting for my orders. I scared the crap out of the mailman today!..I saw him and came running
from the garage.....he's not use to me coming from there!!ahhahaha. There was nothing but bills again today! I figure
monday through friday there should be a glass surprise everyday for me! I'm planning on it! there are 5 orders, and I plan next week to be Christmas for me! My poor mailman
may have to file charges against me by then!!haha

ya know, I can't help but think these little buggers could be big sellers at craft fairs. nothing fancy, slap on geometric shapes - add those flickering battery op tea lights and really draw people to your booth!
