thanks ya'll..........yeah,the pretty flowers came off the trinket box,but then I didn't use them. I have one rose glued on for now, we'll see what else it needs when the glue dries :) I don't like the bottom, it needs a finished look.

Oh This is so pretty!!! I have some of those same little flowered plates. Mine were saucers too. Don't you always wonder what happens to the rest of the sets. Seeing your clock shows me how pretty those dishes will work up.

outlining the whole thing would look.

oops, just reread your post...it's the bottom you think needs something...what about a wooden base with a gold (like the clock face) border?
