Dont feel bad.We have all used ideas from someone else. Like you say as long as your not trying to proffit from it or claiming at as your own design I dont see the harm.

TMG That is WONDERFUL!!! I would want to use it for inspiration too. WOW WOW WOW I can not wait to see what you do with it. OH MAN I LOVE this!!! Already saved to my inspiration file!!! Are you going to use the same colors? When you get it all figured out I will take one in turquoise and purple!!! :^)))

I've always believed that imitation is the HIGHEST form of flattery! If you're not selling it, or making a knock-off to profit from and it's for your own personal use I'd bet the original artist would not have any qualms at all :-)

I haven't figured out the color scheme yet . I'm SO SICK of BLUES .....

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and since you can't do an exact it will be your interpretation of the original. I've no doubt the artist would be glad to help you get out of your slump, and love to see the finished product.

Besides we have all seen things in others work that inspires us to try. No harm no foul.

It's all one piece. ( At least that's the way I'm making it ) I plan on posting the step by step pics.

I soooo wanna do a similar idea with mirror and mosaic! I'm glad you are doing better!!! I have been on antidepressants for yrs now, since I was 6yrs clean and sober, I didn't know that all those yrs drinking and drugging were my way of covering up/coping with depression!!! LOL!

OMG! that is so cool! Very inspiring....I printed it out
for a future project too! I can see why it brought you out of your slump. I just got out of mine a few months ago, and haven't been able to stop myself since. I think having constant projects really helps keep my mind busy, and happy.
