Mask Picture

Can you stand to see one more? This is a mask I created by pouring concrete into a mold, letting it cure for one month and then covering it with various mirror tiles, jewels and beads. It was for my grandsons school dinner auction fundraiser. It was really fun to do, but time consuming....the things we do for our loved ones!

That is beautiful Becky. I have a soft mask mold I was given to do something with. Was trying to fugure what to fill it with to make it strong enough. I think you just answered my question.

WONDERFUL colors!!! I hope you raised big bucks with it!!!

We just got a digital camera for Christmas and trying to figure out how to use it. Thanks for bearing with me! If I remember the mask sold for $60. I wish it would have brought more, but was still happy because the dinner auction brings in much needed $ for our school. There are always so many nice prizes and items to be auctioned off. I never am sure what people will pay good money for. The woman who bought it is a child social worker and I think she bought it to display in her office. Would probably make a good conversation piece!

Very vibrant and colorful. Nicely done..yep 60 bucks was a heck of a steal for it. Im doing a mosaic for a fundraiser in may for relay for life but havent a clue what to do yet!!!!

Love the colors in there!! You waited a MONTH to unmold it! you are so patient, that's the one thing I hate about concrete, can't stand waiting for it to cure. Beautiful job!

OHMYGOODNESS. This is BEAUTIFUL - colors are so awesome. It resembles those of Laurel Skye.

Yep should have been in the $100's or $200's .I just don't know why people won't pay what things are worth especially when it's for a good cause.
